STL acquires Optotec
STL (Sterlite) has acquired the Italian company Optotec. With this acquisition create a larger footprint in the European market. Thanks in part to popular products and technical knowledge of Optotec, STL can now provide its customers with total solutions in FTTH and telecom market.
Optotec, best known in the market for its Splice closures, was founded in 1992 and offers a wide range of (fiber optic) solutions for the telecom market. The acquisition of STL also creates new opportunities in the growing markets of 5G, FTTH, and cloud . The product ranges of both companies offer various solutions for this.
